Founder and Leader of International Godsway Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim has finally responded to the famous “#Obinim sticker” craze that has taken over social media with many Ghanaians joking around it.

The renowned preacher, claims he was out of the country when controversies surrounding his stickers started.

He says, he is not offended by the manner in which Ghanaians have made mockery of his ‘powerful stickers’ but has rather endorsed the challenge.

Addressing his congregants, Bishop Obinim observed that those taking part in the challenge, especially musicians who try to make songs out of it are rather appreciating him, thus no need to stop them.

‘’I was outside the country, that’s where I heard the news about the sticker. I watched several videos and even realized that some musicians such as 4X4, Captain Planet, Pope Skinny and the likes have made some music out of the sticker challenge. When I heard the song, I realized they did not insult me. Those songs can even be sang in the church because they appreciated Obinim. If you want to attack those musicians or fight them, use your sense,” Angel Obinim said.

He has to that effect encouraged Captain Planet, Pope Skinny and other secular artistes not to pay heed to anybody who tries to stop them from making #Obinim sticker songs that could even be sang in his church.

The “Obinim sticker” challenge started following interesting testimonies by followers of the controversial ‘miracle performer’, Bishop Daniel Obinim concerning the use of the stickers.

Members of the International Godsway Church testify that the Obinim stickers possess supernatural powers that solve almost every problem they face.

These testimonies prompted the challenge which makes fun of the claims of Obinim by creating and attributing almost impossible occurrences to the inherent powers of the sticker.

Former President John Dramani Mahama also recommended the Obinim sticker to President Nana Akufo-Addo to enable the latter cure his “super-incompetence” and be able to perform.
