Popular Ghanaian actress and radio show host, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, known in the showbiz industry as Afia Schwarzenegger, has said she’s been denied the opportunity of being made a brand ambassador because she’s not allowed men behind such projects to sleep with her.

According to her, she’s over the years resolutely kept to her principle of not cheapening herself to be used for such gains.

“Some of us we’ve not been brand ambassadors for certain products and institutions because we didn’t allow people to have sex with us. They’ve not made me the face of whatever because I did not allow them to sleep with me, but that is fine with me. From the way I’m loud mouthed, if I had cheapened myself and allow people to sleep with me, I wouldn’t have been able to speak my mind freely as I’ve always done. You see, most of these popular girls are not able to publicly comment on issues because, they fear they’ll be shamed by men who have slept with them. A lot of the big men in Ghana are wicked, they only help young after sleeping with them, it’s only a few that are God-fearing.” Afia Schwarzenegger told Kasapa FM.

Afia Schwarzenegger last week berated Socialite and actress Moesha Boduong accusing the social media celeb of engaging in prostitution.

Moesha Buodong had confessed in an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour that she sleeps with a married man in exchange for financial assistance. The Socialite had blamed economic hardship for her decision to seek support from a married man.

However Afia Schwarzenegger contrasted Moesha with “many young Ghanaian women” who she said were doing “wonderfully well”.

She said although the Ghanaian economy was bad, there was no excuse for Moesha’s conduct. “Our economy is not good but we work [hard] … we cut our cloth according to our fabric, we don’t live for social media likes,” she said, adding: “… dating someone’s hubby is not a career; sleeping with a man in exchange for anything is prostitution.”
