Audio: Kennedy Agyapong calls Kweku Baako “corrupt”, “fool”; threatens to strip him naked

Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, has threatened to expose the Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, whom he describes as “corrupt”.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, Mr Agyapong suggested that Mr Kweku Baako wasn’t the [honourable] person Ghanaians perceive him to be.
The MP has alleged that Mr Baaku was a “corrupt” person who has turned himself into a “Mafia” whom many people have to “see” in order to receive approval from powers he didn’t name.

 

“He is a fool,” he said among other inventive.
“He is a corrupt journalist; Kwaku Baaku, come and show, tell Ghanaians how you built your house,” he challenged Mr Baaku in Twi.

The ace journalist is in court seeking damages to the tune of 25 million Ghana cedis from Mr Agyapong of using his own media platform, Net 2 TV and Oman FM as well Adom TV and numerous other platforms to spew statements that he considers injurious to his hard-won reputation.
The writ said among other things that Kennedy Agyapong called Mr Kwaku Baako “corrupt” and “dishonest”, in total disregard for Mr Baako’s years of building his reputation, earning an Order of the Star of Volta in the process and managing many prominent newspapers to success.

When the writ was read to him by the host of the show, he said “Twenty-five million? When I shit I will pay. I will face them one by one, Nah! Kweku Baako… I will strip him naked… I swear to God,” Mr Agyapong said amidst a hilarious laughter.
