Songo no longer presenter for ‘Fire for Fire’ after her ‘opened’ fire on Kwesi Nyantakyi

Countryman Songo has allegedly lost his job as presenter for ‘Fire for Fire’ -His dismissal is reported to have come after he had a brush with Kwesi Nyantakyi -A new host presented the show on Thursday, March 1, according to reports Unconfirmed reports reaching YEN.com.gh has it that Countryman Songo has lost his job as presenter of ‘Fire for Fire’ on Adom TV. 

According to a report by Pulse.com, Countryman Songo was stopped from presenting the show after he opened “too much” fire on the President of Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi, on his Wednesday show. Songo is reported to have hurled insults at Nyantakyi for “destroying” the Ghana Premier League. According to him, Kwesi Nyantakyi is to blame for the delay of the start of the 2018 Ghana Premier League, after Accra Great Olympics placed an injunction on the league. Songo’s action, is said to have triggered a legal action from Kwesi Nyantakyi, but management of the Multimedia Group intervened to have the suit dropped. His alleged dismissal could be a means by which Multimedia seeks to prevent the issue from reoccurring.

 Former Kitz FM Sports host, Kobby Stone, is reported to have taken over the mantle as the host of ‘Fire for Fire’ yesterday. Countryman Songo is on record for castigating popular sport figures including Asamoah Gyan, for “not doing the right thing”.
